3-in-1 Hadalabo Perfect Gel ★

I'm a fan of Hadalabo's products, they're effective, good quality and inexpensive. Their Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion was the first ever lotion I ever tried, and the Hadalabo Skin Conditioner was another amazing item I bought a lot of back ups for ★ Now, I've discovered yet another amazing find, the 3-in-1 Perfect Gel. It can be used as an essence, sleeping mask and moisturizer, though I mostly use it as a sleeping mask.

It comes in a simple plastic cylindrical jar, which I'm not really a fan of due to hygiene hazards...So if you're a stickler for cleanliness and hate contamination like me, use a spatula or spoon to scoop out what you need, and always make sure it's clean before dipping into the jar.

The ingredients list, all conveniently listed in English. Like many of Hadalabo's products, the Perfect gel is mineral oil-free, colorant-free, fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin. The expiry date is also a long way away, March 2016.

Hadalabo's star product is the Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion, and many of the other items in their lineup also feature Hyaluronic Acid. The Hadalabo Perfect Gel contains 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid: 

★ Nano Hyaluronic Acid

★ Super Hyaluronic Acid

★ Hyaluronic Acid

These deeply penetrates the skin to provide intense hydration. It also contains Ceramide, an ingredient which moisturizes deeply and prevents moisture loss. Another key ingredient is Collagen, which has long been known to improve skin's elasticity and radiance. Combined, the ingredients in the gel penetrates deeply into the skin to provide long-lasting hydration, and forms a barrier on the surface of the skin to prevent any moisture loss. 

Testing the texture.

The gel is semi-transparent and light in texture, applies very smoothly without leaving any greasy or sticky residue, and is easily absorbed into the skin. I do feel that it's too thick/rich to be used as a day moisturizer or essence, especially given Singapore's heat and humidity, but as a sleeping mask it does its job very well. 

Sleep is when our body repairs itself, so what better way to boost regeneration that during the optimal time of the day? I generously apply the Perfect Gel onto my face and neck, massage it in, go to sleep, and wake up to soft and radiant skin! I could really see a difference in moisture levels and skintone the morning after, all my dehydration lines are gone and my skin is smooth and supple.

Retailing at S$35.90 for 100g of product, the Hadalabo Perfect Gel is a steal and well worth its price, given its effectiveness.

The kind folks from Hadalabo also sent this panda eye mask, it's soo adorable! And extremely soft and fluffy, perfect texture to induce sleep~ I foresee this tagging along with me on many airplane trips!

Hadalabo Skin Conditioner ♥

After trying a miniature version I chanced upon in Donki in end-May, I finally hunted down full-sized versions and stocked up on the Hadalabo Skin Conditioner. I suppose this can be considered a review of sorts? I really love this product, it's AWESOME ♥♥ Ever since I started using it, my skin just started becoming better. Clearer, brighter, more hydrated. I use it together with the Sana Hadanomy Collagen Mist, I think both work well together. My whole skincare routine now consists of just those two products, a single application at night before going to bed.

I stocked up well when I went to Chubu and Tohoku ^^

The Hadalabo Skin Conditioner is to prevent pimples and skin irritations, maintain moisture, cleanse and tighten pores. It is a medicated product. Like most Hadalabo products, it contains hyaluronic acid, as well as added ingredients to "condition" the skin, hence the name of the product (:

Got these 2 bottles of Hadalabo Skin Conditioner at Matsumoto Kiyoshi at Kanayama station in Nagoya. They retail for 1,575yen each. Previously, I had searched high and low in other MatsuKiyos in Kanazawa and Matsumoto, but I really couldn't find any. These 2 were the last 2 bottles in the Kanayama store; which did not have stock of the refills :(

The full-sized bottle of Hadalabo Skin Conditioner has 170ml of product, and unlike the Hadalabo hyaluronic hydrating toners which come in cylindrical bottles, these are in rectangular/blocky bottles. I like! ♥

After Tohoku, we had a few free hours in Tokyo, and I went to the Donki in Shibuya to grab some of these. But figuring that a single bottle can last quite a while, and since I already had 2 whole 170ml bottles, I got 2 refills. Each refill packet has 150ml of product, and costs 1,365yen.

This is the mini 40ml travel-sized/sample-sized Hadalabo Skin Conditioner I got in Tokyo in end-May. It was 298yen (discounted price at Donki). After over 2 months of daily use, I think I'm just two-thirds to three-quarters through it; so this stuff lasts quite a long time. I think now I've got over a year's supply? Hopefully my stash will last that long!

I like the nozzle/hole/tip/whatever-you-call-it. Because it sticks out like this, the dispensed flow of product is precise, not messy and doesn't spill~ ♥

The cap comes off with minimal effort and has a big top hole, making it really easy for refilling.

The liquid is very light and watery, non-sticky, with a slight medicated smell, and is easily absorbed by the skin ♥ I guess some people may not like the smell, but I kind of like it!

The 5 key ingredients are dipotassium glycyrrhizate, pro-vitamin B5, vitamin E derivative, niacinamide and aminocaproic acid. You can go Google them yourselves if you're interested in their functions/derivations etc; I think I'll bore people with technicalities if I try to explain^^

The product claims to be hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, coloring-free, mineral-oil-free, paraben-free, mildly acidic, allergy-tested, stinging-tested and non-comedogenic. Suitable for normal, combi, dry, oily, sensitive etc many different skin types.

I cannot stress how much I adore this product right now! ♥ I think I've really got to credit all my recent skin improvements to this~ I do like Hadalabo products a lot. But I do find that their milks/emulsions are too rich and thick for Singapore's weather. Thus I'm really liking the Skin Conditioner because the formula is really thin and very watery, and it is extremely easily absorbed into my skin ♥

Hadalabo Skincare Set and Travel-sized Goodies

Did you know that Hadalabo has a special bunch of products just for conbinis? (conbini = convenience store) You can find the full selection on their website. (They're under "e.t.c.") Selection at a random Family Mart I saw!

For example you're gonna stay overnight at a friend's place and you forgot your dearly beloved Hadalabo toiletries. Fret not, the Hadalabo Overnight Set comes to the rescue!

The set, for 1-night's use, comes with 7 sachets - 1 of makeup remover, 2 each of facial foam, lotion and milk (1 before sleeping, 1 after waking up) Isn't that handy? I guess a lot of people love it, it was sold out at this conbini! See the empty rack in the first pic, beside the pink packets?

Anyway, in the 1st picture, see the item in the bottom right corner? It's the Hadalabo Skincare Set! A travel-sized kit with 4 essential items. I didn't get it when I went to Tokyo, but when I saw it out at Watson's here, I figured I might as well get it...and because it's one of the more reasonably-priced Hadalabo items locally^^ (I hate paying for marked up items, especially when I know the original prices. And Hadalabo stuff are usually discounted at major drugstores in Japan!)

4 travel-sized items in a cute little ziplock with a PINK zip! ♥♥♥

The travel kit retails for 1,050yen, and it was S$15.90 at Watson's. 100yen=S$1.55. Great price! Because things like the Hydrating Lotion Refill, which I got for 598yen in Tokyo, is selling for S$18.90 at Watson's. Do the math and figure the difference!

Because it's being sold in Singapore, they like to paste large "translated" stickers on lots of the products. Which I really dislike cos I have no need for them and they make the packaging ugly, even after you remove them!

Usually these stickers are made of horrible material that you can't fully peel off without leaving sticky residue or white remnants :( (Sorry, this is a real pet peeve of mine!) But thankfully, this sticker came off cleanly, mostly because of the material of the ziplock bag!

And this is the original Japanese version of the what the sticker says. Except that being considerate, the Japanese version is on a card inside the ziplock case. I think they know that people would want to use the clean ziplock bag with no weird stickers on it! Imagine if the sticker left a residue on the ziplock case. I totally wouldn't bring it out to use!

Not part of the kit, but I got this a while ago, it's the Hadalabo Lip Treatment/Lip Gel. The ziplock is kinda spacious, so I put this in it as well, it's extremely useful when travelling! ♥

I reaalllllly love this! ♥♥ Totally moisturizes my horribly dry lips. The texture is a tad thick, but it's not sticky at all. I usually squeeze some onto my finger then spread it onto my lips with my finger.

Anyway, conbinis also sell mini-sized versions of Hadalabo's Gokujyun and Shirojyun ranges (:

The mini-sized lotion is 100mL, regular is 170mL.

Donki loots ♥

In the previous post, I introduced the wonderful Donki, so now this post's gonna be about the wonderful things I hauled from there^^ This is a combination of 4~5 trips to Donki? Each time I step in I feel the itch to try something new (♥´౪`♥)

This is Multi-Natural (for normal~dark skin), the other version's Light Natural (light~normal) I think? I got the darker version so that I can try to have a "tanned" look haha. Anyway I LOVE this powder, it finishes matte, no shimmers! (♥´౪`♥)

I don't know how they do it, but perfumes in Donki are extremely discounted, even cheaper than Duty Free prices! (Same for alcohol, it's also cheaper at Donki than the airport if anyone's wondering

This supposedly retails for 5,250yen, but was only 2,480yen at Donki. Ferragamo's Incanto perfumes were also cheaper at Donki than the airport, I noticed because I bought 2x30ml bottles of Incanto Shine for SGD$91 at Changi Airport's Duty Free, but at Donki a 30ml bottle was 2,000+yen. (SGD$30+).

So if you wanna buy perfumes or liquor, go to Donki instead of Duty Free! You can claim tax-exemption too if you spend over s certain amount.
