Obsessed with Rings!

Rings ♥ Who doesn't love them? Lately I've been having a bit of an obsession with them, every time I step into a store with accessories, I always have to check out the rings! These are some that I've gotten...this month :x But I really do like them! Though I haven't really got a chance to wear them other than weekends (*´д`*)

Okay, these are not rings but I had to get them out of the way first, they made me so happy just looking at them^^ Bought these cos they were so colorful and too pretty to resist! ♥ Ribbon earrings in 9 different colors were only S$11! The long colorful flowers necklace was around S$10 I think? Both were from F21.

Rings from Accessorize! ♥

Out of all the rings I own, I do like the quality of the Accessorize ones the most, but that being said, they are quite pricey for regular, non-precious stone rings :/ I got the big round one when it was 70% off, the original price was S$47. I fell in love with the fish ring the moment I saw it, who's the genius who came up with the idea of making a ring in a vertical fish?! I love the hanging scales~ ♥ It was S$27.

The problem with buying them was that you can really try them on in the store, so at first I got the fish ring in a size too large. When I exchanged it, I think the bottom scale on the new one was missing! But oh well, at least its not a very noticeable scale. I don't like looking at dead fish in the market, but I really like looking at the fish ring~ ♥

Sets of 10 rings, good for layering or stacking on your other fingers if you don't want to just wear one ring out, but think that having two "big" or "bold" rings is too much. Obviously I *needed* both colors, to match my other rings :P Each set was S$5.90, more reason to get both ehehe^^

Plastic bow rings from F21! ♥

I love these because you know whenever you're out and go to the restroom? When you wash your hands you need to take your rings off, and sometimes the skin between your fingers are totally dry when you put them back on, then the metal oxidizes (´д`) But with these plastic rings, it doesn't matter if you wet them! :D

Double rings from F21! ♥

I actually got the stars one last year, but got the flowers one this month.

Forgot the prices, but I think they were around S$8 each?

I think F21 offers a large assortment of accessories, but the quality isn't that great - they wear/oxidize really fast, and sometimes the joints aren't done very well, so parts may break off. Also, sometimes the stones aren't glued on properly and fall off too. But that being said, they are inexpensive and offer quite a variety of designs, and anyway no one can see the oxidized portions when you're wearing them :P

I really like these, found them by accident hidden in a pot of other rings at H&M (♥´౪` ♥)

But sadly they're kinda too big even for my index and middle fingers, so I need to be careful when bending my fingers downwards, there have been quite many times I've "lost" the top layer whilst digging for stuff in my bag. Luckily it's just lost in my bag, and not dropped somewhere on the streets.

I also got the pale blue version of the white one last month^^ Rings are currently my favorite accessories, but bangles/bracelets are following behind, cos I don't really wear or have very many of them. But I think I've got enough hair bands/bows/clips though!

Paris Kids ♥

Paris Kids stocks a cornucopia of cute accessories,

be it earrings, necklaces, hair accessories, bracelets, straps etc,

and everything's 315yen!

Paris Kids has only one store, at Harajuku's Takeshita Doori.

It's on the left side, near the beginning of the street when you exit from Harajuku station.

Their shopping bag looks like this.

First haul!

Super big black bow, floral scrunchie, faux pearl necklace,

pink chiffon flower clips, plastic flowery bow handphone strap,

teardrop necklace, beige hair clip, "love" clip-on earrings.

I really like the plastic handphone strap! ♥

Second haul!

Heart-shaped keychain with rosette and blinged bow details! ♥

Clip-on mini straw hat, sakura hair clip, lace headband/neck ribbon.

When I first bought these, I didn't realize they were clip-ons :(

I really like the design, but clip-ons are kind of painful for me,

it's like squeezing your ear lobe :/

The quality is pretty decent, none of the items I've bought have broken yet^^

Paris Kids has a Rakuten store if you wanna see more of what their accessories look like.

It actually seems that their online store has more variety than the physical store.

However, it does not ship overseas directly :(

But it's still nice to browse though! ♥

Blinging accessories, pens and boxes ♥

I think I'm addicted to blinging things! As long as I see remaining crystals in my crafts containers I have this urge to use them up on something...anything...everything! One of my favorite "creations" so far is this pen ♥

It started out as a plain Uniball Style Fit Gel Ink Refill.

I covered it in rows of mostly Eri AB 9, Light Sapphire AB 9 and Silk AB 9.

Ran out of blue-ish crystals so the bottom is Sun AB 9^^

But...it looked too plain! So I cut up an earring; removed the stud part and used the bow, added lots of glue and stuck it on. And then used nylon string and metal rings to affix a blue crystal heart through one of the holes in the bow.

And it's refillable (unscrew-and-refill type) so it can still be used after the ink runs out mwahahahaha!

Chopper mini trump cards in a box~

I just had to bling the box cos it looked too plain!

This time I tried adding sweets/cakes deco pieces.

They were 100yen from Daiso for a pack.

Each pack contains 5 different "sweets", and comes with a double-sided sticky backing.

This is the original. It's like a key chain so you can hang it on your bag.

Now that it's all blinged up, it makes a great bag accessory~

Fancy Pocket is great on the pockets! ♥

Introducing Fancy Pocket~

It sells mostly hair accessories produced by Sunhoseki.

They also sell items for decorating bags, keychains, stickers, deco goods.

This store is the one on Takeshita Doori in Harajuku.

It's located on the 2nd floor so you have to climb up spiral stairs.

The interior is an inviting pink, just welcoming you grab more and more! You might think that it's targeted at younger middle school kids, but adults can find things they like as well! They have lots of cute stuff (: You'll often see mums and daughters shopping here together, or groups of young schoolgirls shopping together.

Section by the window (where the girl with the backpack is) is where they have tubs and tubs full of moco moco (fluffy material) pompom hair ties! In a variety of different colors~ I was tempted to get all cos they're really cheap, but I knew I wouldn't use all the colors so...I restrained myself. On hindsight, I should've just gotten them!

The mini pompom hair ties were....only 30yen (US $0.37)each!

Larger ones were 50yen each!

Big fluffball hair tie was also 30yen each!

Leopard print usamimi was 190yen.

Hairbands were around 200yen each.

The scarves were only 160yen(black) and 320yen(white)!

The small polka-dot bow clips were 100yen!

The hard plastic ribbon clips were 360yen, they're really pretty!

The big polka-dot bow clip was 220yen.

But the floral bow has a clip on it too, so you can put it in your hair~

These were 190yen each. And they're quite big!

I had this obsession with moco moco items,

I really love how soft and colorful they are!

The 3 on the left column are from a 100yen store in Ikebukuro. In the middle column, the top bunch is from Fancy Pocket, the middle one, from Pink Latte. It's my favorite cos it has a pink satin bow and a gold heart charm on it too! But a tad pricey at 630yen. Pink Latte has loads of cute hair accessories, but they're quite pricey. The quality if good though, and the pompoms are dense and beautifully round! The bottom one is from SBY. This has the largest and fluffiest poms! The right column is all from Fancy Pocket!

Granted the quality is not excellent, but it's decent and won't fall apart ☆

Accessories Haul from Diva & F21

First was Diva, there was a sale^^

Then it was a bunch of "ethnic" type accessories in Forever 21. Love this colorful dangly necklace (♥´౪`♥) It's actually 2 layers of colorful beads and gold chains hanging down, really love this!

Turquoise is the ever-present color in ethnic style accessories (: White, black and turquoise beads woven in a hanging pattern with black feathers at the end. Nothing spells ethnic-kei accessories like feathers!

Trying out the EyeLabo lashes. The bottom ones are Natural Angel 003, cut in half, I'm only using it as an outer half lash. Top is Sexy Doll 002, really love the design!

And in case ya haven't noticed I tweaked the layout a bit, switched to the design/layout mode from the classic mode while trying to maintain the same-ish theme as the previous one. Still not really used to it as I'm really used to editing with HTML, and know nuts about xml and all the weird codes the new template thing has; which is why I've never really bothered switching all this while^^ But, gotta move on with the times right? ^^
