Pink/Red Bags ♡

After buying some things last month, I've realized that most of the bags I use or really like are pink/red! I guess it's not surprising, just that I never noticed it before^^

The new ones I bought last month:

PINK LUGGAGE! ♡ ♥ ♡

Can't wait to use it! Not only is it pink, but more importantly it's super light and has 4 wheels. When I went to Europe in 2010, all my friends were using luggages with 4 wheels, while I had one with only 2 wheels. So while they were merrily pushing their luggages across the long distances we had to trek to reach out hotels, I was the only sad soul *pulling* a 25kg luggage with 3 weeks worth of clothes and toiletries :( Got calluses on my hands after the trip. But I got stronger arms too hahaha.

Also got a hot pink wallet, a mini pink clutch from H&M and a red envelop clutch

This is my favorite bag ever. Got it over two years ago from River Island, and I really love using it. It fits anything to everything I need, be it for school or for travelling, and the snaps at the side and expand or shrink the apparent size as needed. Plus I really like the design, color and details ♡

And the interior is lined with super smooth leopard print satin. To give an estimate of the size, I've already put 5 magazines inside, can probably fit over 15 more. Not that I would carry 20 magazines in it, it probably can't take the weight. It can fit two boxes of shoes! So you can see that it's very roomy, to say the least.

I used it as my hand-carry when I went to Europe. I also used it when I went to Tokyo last year, and when I felt tired of carrying so many bags from shopping, I stuffed them all in here hehehe. This was the red 2-wheeled luggage that gave me calluses :(

We rode a lot of trains, and for some reason, the train stations in Italy that we went to had no escalators or elevators! So we often had to carry our heavy luggages up and down the stairs. In Florence, there was a really nice man who carried my luggage up the stairs for me; like he just took it out of my hands and marched right up the stairs. And before I could thank or even get a good look at him, he walked off! ...But later on my friends and I found out that we were at the wrong exit, so we had to carry our luggage back down to the platform and up another exit.

After years of use the handles are dying, and the zip outside came off.

But I still use it for travelling ♡

Still can't find a similar replacement, even after searching for months!

I saw this in H&M one day, and got it because it was so mini and cute!

It has just enough space to fit my phone, a lipstick, some cards and money hahaha.

It's only slightly larger than my phone. My phone it rather huge because of the bling, I realized that after removing the bling case it's actually pretty slim. But...I'd rather keep the bling :P

Got it from a random store on the 3rd floor of Bugis for S$19.90.

Pink patent bag from Bangkok in 2010 (took Thai Airways to Rome, stopped over in Bangkok on the returning leg). Can't remember if it was from Platinum or Pratunam! Got the heart charm from another store in the same mall. I've since blinged the gold squared part in the center of the bow on the bag. Sadly, the heart charm fell off one day while I was on the train, probably from the squeezing and pushing :(

Salmon bag, bought sometime last year.

It can actually fit quite a lot of things: a long wallet, my phone, my old camera, mp3 player, keys and even an umbrella!

I also have a hot pink backpack; the only backpack I own. Got it in Toyama last year, cos I saw it in an adorable store selling tons of girly stuff. The store's called Kokemomo and it's located by Toyama Station, on the 1st level of Esta.

Since I was gonna be traversing the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route the following day, I thought a backpack would be tons easy to have while climbing, as opposed to a tote or shoulder bag^^ I think it was around 2,500yen.

There's also this peachy pink bag from Suanna that I bought from Gmarket a year and a half ago.

The lining is of a soft pink shiny satiny material and the bag has many compartments. Fits A4 perfectly and comes with a detachable sling strap. I used to use it for work, but I like bags with two handles to carry on the shoulder, and the handles of these are too short for that. I don't really like using sling straps for large bags.

So, those are all the pink/red bags I have...I think! What color bags/wallets do you like? I don't really have large black/brown bags as I've always found them too common!^^

Shoes + stationery + JYJ love ♥

Look what came in the mail? Latest haul from Gmarket~ Made its way to me just in time before the New Year delays! So I got the JYJ Music Essay ♥ I've been waiting for it to come out since I heard the songs from the Seoul Concert! Also got 3 pairs of heels (wedges actually), another bag from Suanna, necklaces, a bunch of colorful pens and a diary which came with a ton of freebies. Gotta love the generous seller.

The box this time was so huuuuge! I could fit into it! (albeit uncomfortably) It was almost 9kg, but most of the weight was probably the multiple boxes...and the weight of the shoes.

First pair of shoes ♥ Black wedges with gold studs from Heeltown.I love this for the different sized studs, the zip-edged cross straps and the side zip with fringe tassels. Plus points for the straps going above the ankles. These are actually wedges so they're really comfortable to walk in.

Pardon the angle cos my mirror is attached to the door of my cupboard so I can't take pictures with it, so I can only take a photo of me looking down at my feet ^^ These were a steal at 8,500won, inclusive of domestic shipping charges of 2,500won. I think they were clearing summer stock, most of the other non-winter shoes were OOS.

The other 2 pairs of shoes I got were from the seller Paris Avenue. Their shoes, especially the wedges are lovely! ♥ They have such pretty designs which come in nice colors. The material for most of their wedges is suede. They were around 21,000won each. But the quality/sturdiness is better than the Heeltown pair. The fit as well.

For heels/open toed shoes I'm a 39 in European sizing, 6 for UK sizing, so I got a 250, which is usually the biggest size for most sellers on Gmarket. Sometimes they fit well, other times they don't, it really depends on the seller. I'm glad to say that Paris Avenue was absolutely perfect for me ♥

The first pair I got's called "Tommy London". I originally wanted black but that was sold out. Anyway I already got a black pair (the studded ones from Heeltown) so I thought I'd try navy. And oooh isn't the color pretty ♥ I'm glad I got it!

Picture of them worn. These go above the ankles too! Makes your legs look longer hehe. I think. Doesn't it? There's a zipper at the back so you don't actually need to buckle all the straps to put these on. Like I mentioned, sizing for this brand/seller is great!

Side view! These are wedges ♥ The padding/material of the sole makes it super comfortable to walk in. And the wedge part is covered with the same navy suede material as the rest of the shoe. Which is great cos sometimes for other sellers/models the top half of the shoe is one color, but the bottom half, the wedge, is like cork/straw or black. But for Paris Avenue all their shoes have colored wedges/wedges covered with the same material as the rest of the shoe. Red, purple, brown, navy, black etc ♥

The second pair I got from Paris Avenue, "Megan" in brown ♥ These have laces in the front and a zip at the back. You can wear them either way, either by using the zip or by tying/untying the laces. I like using the laces!

Picture when worn. The height of the heel is the same as "Tommy London", 10cm, but the straps/top of this pair ends below the ankle ♥ So it's more casual hehe. Once again, they're very comfortable. And they make your ankles look thin (: Again that's what I think haha. But my legs don't look as long here as they do in with Tommy London so it's not a delusion right!

Side/closeup view. The heel is covered with the same material as the rest of the shoe. Brown suede. These are uber comfy and the sizing and fit is great too! ♥

I've gotten 2 other pairs of heels from 2 other sellers in previous orders from Gmarket, (Sinnanda and Heelda), all in 250 as well, but the cut was always a tad tiny so I'd end up with blisters :( The Sinnanda pair was due to the strap at the front, after walking a long time the top of my toes/side of little toe got blisters. Both pairs had zips at the back which weren't comfortable, cos I think the shoes were a bit short, and they ended at the ankle, so I got blisters at the back of my ankles because the top of the zipper cut into the back of my ankle. But the ones from Paris Avenue are perfect and aren't tight in any places. And even though Megan's zip ends at the ankle, it doesn't cut into me. The Heeltown pair's a bit short (ie front toes stick out a bit) but that won't cause blisters, cos the strap's not tight, the zip's at the side and the whole shoe goes above my ankle. So, I love it~ ♥

Got more necklaces from Jenashop. Another owl and a big round pendant. This owl has a more delicate feel than the previous leafy owl. The ribbon hair tie was a freebie with 2 necklaces purchased ♥

And I got another bag from Suanna~ ♥ After seeing how great the quality of the Angel Wings Big Bag was, I decided to get another bag from Suanna. This time I got the Katharine Mash Bag Season 2 in Mocha Chocolate. Season 2 has the front pocket/bow/lock thing, the season 1 version doesn't. When I bought it it was 37,800won, but now it's selling for only 29,800won! Guess I don't feel too bad since I got it for ~32,000won after using coupons. It comes in other colors like white, black and smoky violet, which looks like gray.

Like all Suanna bags it came with a large dust bag with the words Suanna Black Label.

The interior of the bag. This is probably the most true to the color picture. The Katharine Mash Bag doesn't have as many compartments as the Angel Wings Big Bag, but it still has a zipped compartment and 2 pockets for phone/ipod. And there's outside compartment at the front of the bag. This bag is a shoulder/tote bag and has a zip closure for the main compartment.

Another view of the interior. The inner lining is really nice! (The color in this pic is a bit off, see the 2 pics above!) It's soft and satiny and of good quality. Most bags on Gmarket usually have the thick cottony/linen/rough lining that's either black or in some print that doesn't match.

And this one came free with the Katharine Mash Bag! I don't know what the name of this model is though. It reminds me of a bucket bag due to how it's closed, the gathered top. It's made of a satiny material, really soft. You probably shouldn't use this for heavy stuff. The quilted part at the bottom is somehow reinforced I think, the material's a lot thicker than the non-quilted part at the top.

And even though it was free, it came with a dust bag as well~

The inside has a zip compartment as well~ And mobile phone pockets too. It's really...orange. But oh well it was a freebie and I'm sure I'll find some way to match it with something! (:

Got a set of Staedtler pens in a hot pink casing~ 20 pens! I actually got another set a few years back, but obviously they've been used up and when I saw these on Gmarket I just had to get them. Got it at 13,000won from the seller Lovepen.

The case can be unrolled to this! Each pen has it's own band holder so it won't slip ♥ And there's a detachable zip case on the left, beside the yellow pen. (It's kind of cut off in the pic, you can see half of it ^^)

And onto the diary! The seller, CMtoo, taped the box with this pretty pink and white checked tape ♥

I got this Edge Calligraphy diary and sticker set. The diary comes in a box, and the sticker set comes in its own plastic.

And these were freebies! Just for that diary+sticker set! The seller kindly gave me a mini -hanging calendar, a passport cover from Mono Village, a set of adorable post-its from the same brand as the calendar, a card holder, and a set of stickers. How generous! ♥

The diary itself came in a box, and came with a clear PVC cover, 2 sheets of stickers, and calendar sheet cards. The 2 sheets of stickers that came with the diary are different from the sticker set.

This was a very very satisfying haul ♥ Well, it wasn't really a haul cos I didn't get that many items, but the stationery freebies and 3 pairs of wedges made it seem like a haul ehehe. And no I haven't bought much clothes from Gmarket since summer because all their clothes now are thick, woolly winter clothes...which will totally kill me in Singapore's heat! Although I really really love the winter shoes :( But I can't even wear closed shoes (other than flimsy thin flats) here without my feet feeling like they're in a sauna! So I'm just waiting for the pretty spring dresses (:

Pretty Pre-Christmas Gmarket Love ♥♥

♥♥ Merry belated Christmas and a Happy New Year~ I actually ordered this awhile back, but due to exams and the gatherings of the holiday season I haven't been able to post ^^ Anyways! This time I got a pretty pink bag from Suanna, a new diary, sunglasses, a Korean language book, some necklaces, the new JYJ CD, a cat doll and a blusher.

Tada~ ny new "Angel Wings Big Bag". First off I wanna say that this bag is gorgeous! ♥♥ It's really well made, and well-lined. And it's so sweet and feminine (: The bag was from Suanna, and it comes in other colors like white, dark purple, black, cocoa brown and milk tea brown. And the frills are on both the front and the back of the bag, not just the front (: It was 34,800won without discount. I used the 15%off overseas shipping and a 2,000won off GLotto coupon, so it ended up 27,580won.

I got this diary for the new year~♥ Actually I'm pretty much a hoarder, I still have a few diaries I haven't used ^^ But I couldn't resist because this one was so pretty, and came with a lot of stuff! Plus it comes in a box, perfect for gifts (: It's a photodiary, so the images inside are snapshots of Paris ♥♥ I got this from the seller 디자인팬시마켓11.

The lovely Paris, Je t'aime diary, which came awesomely packed with 50 mini postcards, 36 mini envelopes, a pen, and 5 sheets of stickers! All packed prettily in a clear plastic box. And it was only 16,800won, 13,950won after using the 10% off overseas shipping coupon and 7% off stationery coupon~♥

The seller gave this set of earphones as a freebie, just what I needed! Mine actually kinda broke a few days ago, this comes right on time, plus it's in one of my favorite colors! :D

And of course, when I heard that JYJ would be releasing a new "New Limited Edited" version of their album "The Beginning", I just had to get it, even though I have all the other versions already♥ ^^ The seller I got it from actually gave 2 posters, instead of just 1 which most other sellers did, so hurray! One was the new huuuuge 110cmx60cm poster, and the other was the old poster which came with the previous versions. Ehehe now I have 3 copies of that old poster :D This version comes with a photobook, and the case is 20cmx20cm. (The luxury edition came in a 25cmx25cmx4cm box).

And speaking of JYJ, since Jaejoong tweets about his cat (Jiji) a lot and posted some pictures of this cat doll (called GG) (and another which he called ZZ) that his cat plays with, I managed to find it on Gmarket!♥ I don't know if it's the same brand/model but looks close enough! I couldn't find the ZZ doll though :( This was 9,900won from the seller 모아사810.

I painted my nails red&black with JYJ on them ♥ Haha but faaailll, I can't seem to get the shape right :( Anyway, just wanted to show a photo comparing the sizes off the 3 different versions. Content-wise the Luxury version is the best as it come with 11 tracks, 8+3 remixes, 16 beautiful photo cards, a Tshirt and a poster. The New Limited Edition comes with 10 tracks, 8+2 remixes, a mini photobook and a poster. The Normal Edition comes with 8 tracks (no remixes) and a poster (same as luxury version).

Remember a while back I bought some Korean books, but was sad that Beginner's II didn't ship overseas when all the other books in the series did? So I sent an enquiry to the seller, who very promptly replied and made it available for international shipping! ♥♥ A big two thumbs up for their customer service! (I enquired in grammatically incorrect Korean and just put an English version hoping they read English, they replied within a few hours in Korean haha) So I ordered it plus the Intermediate II, and now I have the textbooks for Beginner's I, Beginner's II, Intermediate I and Intermediate II, all from the same seller. ♥

My new Beginner's II book! I've just about finished reading Beginner's I so this came just in time~♥

A note about this series of books: They are published by Kyung Hee University, and are good for self-studying Korean, provided you you have some basic/prior knowledge of Korean or you learn fast. (ie at least know the alphabet/pronunciation and recognizing stems of verbs). Because only Beginner's I & II have English glossaries and grammar notes (which are detailed and easy to understand. And there're also passages on culture and customs with English translation) However, from Intermediate onwards the book is purely in Korean. So you'll have to diligently check/look up a dictionary for new vocabulary and stuff.

Also got a blusher from Banila Co, as I had a 10% off coupon and it was Beauty Super Week (meaning extra coupons) and wanted to use it, and once I saw this blusher I knew I had to get it. I LOVEEE the lace design on the cover, it looks so pretty and intricate! The seller threw in 2 sachets each of the Let Me Start Make Up Essence in Muse (Pink) and Photogenic (Blue).

Sadly, (I don't know why though), whenever the EMS guy delivers me a package from Gmarket, I notice that the box is ALWAYS rather warm. Maybe the weather or near the engine or what? Butttt, the heat probably caused the glue holding the blusher pan and the case to melt. Hence it always comes off when I open it! But the blusher itself it reallly pretty! See the design? It's a pretty coral blusher with a pearly finish~♥

This is how it looks like from the bottom. The pattern on the top will get wiped off after a few uses I guess. But the blusher itself is still really pearly/shimmery (:

Got these sunnies from Pink Gongzang (핑크공장), it was 1+1! So for every pair you buy, they'll randomly throw in another pair for free~ And luckily for me the free pair was a pretty one! Each pair you buy comes with a free cleaning cloth and soft pouch. Only one cos they don't give it for the free pair.

The upper one's the free pair, the bottom one's the one I bought. All sunnies are certified 100% UV proof.

Got two lovely necklaces from 제나샵. ♥ I think the owl is really cute in that the feathers are like leaves and each one can move/swivel, so the owl looks more alive when you wear it^^. The hear-shaped mirror really is a mini-mirror, perfect for checking your lips or hair while on the go hehe! The teddy bear earrings were a freebie~

Overall a very satisfying haul~ I love you Gmarket!♥♥ Haha can't wait for the JYJ music essay to be released to get it and the recently released GD&TOP album!
